How to become a DOHboy

Admission into the ranks of DOH is by invitation only.

DOHboyz must adhere to the Fighter Ace CoC. DOH pilots do not engage in any conduct that might be considered questionable. We do not argue nor will you see one of us engaging in any type of behavior that might be considered rude or offensive. What you will see is teamwork above all else. If you taunt us, you will not see a typed response on the main chat. What you will see is an effort by DOH to shoot you down, period. DOH prefers to let our skills speak for us. DOH pilots are killers with excellent flying skills DOH pilots practice self control above all else. We will be the first to tell an enemy pilot that they made a good kill on one of us. We prefer the term "classy killers" to describe our squadron. If you do not fit into this category, do not bother trying to join DOH because you will fail.

A pilot interested in becoming a DOH boy is usually invited by a member of the squadron. The DOH boy will contact DOH_BlackCloud about the potential new member. DOH_BlackCloud will consult with DOH_Angler, and members of the DOH Council about this person's qualifications. The potential new member might be asked to fly against a DOH boy so evaluate that pilot's skills and potential. If you are asked, pay attention to the advice give to you by the DOH boy, it might be the deciding factor. After this evaluation is made, the DOH boy will report back to DOH_BlackCloud and give a recommendation based upon your flying skills and potential for improvement.

Flying skills are not the only criteria in which DOH selects its pilots. A potential DOH boy must exhibit the traits listed in the first paragraph. How a pilot interacts with other pilots who is important to DOH. A potential DOH boy might be asked to fly with DOH as a nonmember for a period of time to determine if that pilot fits in with the squad. The length of time a pilot might be asked to fly with DOH differs from pilot to pilot.

If a pilot wants to join DOH and is not invited, he should contact a member of the squadron and talk to them about membership. The DOH boy then should direct the pilot to our website to read all the information contained herein. The DOH boy should then contact DOH_BlackCloud, DOH_Angler or DOH_Mach_1 concerning the pilot's request to join DOH. Then the process works basically the same as an invited member.

A potential DOH boy will be given access to DOH frequencies on nights when the squad is not using a password protected frequencies on Roger Wilco.

If a pilot is given membership to DOH, that pilot must include the DOH_ tag in front of their Fighter Ace Nick.
